What this site is
There's a lot of advice out there about food, and most of it makes good eating sound harder than it is. Leo's Produce takes the opposite view. We focus on the things that genuinely matter — buying what's in season, choosing organic where it counts, storing produce so it lasts, and wasting less — and we explain each one clearly, with the short answer first.
It's the guide we'd hand a friend who wants more fruit and veg in their week and isn't sure where to start.
What you'll find here
- How veg boxes work — what a produce box is, choosing a size, and the freedom to swap, skip or pause.
- What's in season — a simple year-round guide to eating with the seasons.
- Organic basics — what "certified organic" really means, and where it's worth the spend.
- Packaging & sustainability — loose produce, home-compostable materials, and reusable boxes.
- A produce FAQ — quick answers to the everyday questions.
A note on what we are. Leo's Produce is a guide, not a shop — we don't take orders, hold stock or deliver food. Our aim is simply to help you choose, store and enjoy fresh produce well, wherever you buy it.
Our approach
We keep three principles in mind on every page:
- Plain language. No jargon, no hype — just clear, useful guidance you can act on today.
- Honest and practical. Real trade-offs, sensible rules of thumb, and advice that respects your time and budget.
- Kinder by default. Seasonal eating, less waste and better packaging are good for you and for the planet at the same time.
